Abstract
This paper presents the analysis of implications arising from the Web 2.0 innovations as a tool for creating a library image, and considers possibilities of the services which encourage readers interests and professional communication inside library and information community. Principles of technologies that enable the successful development of Web 2.0 projects in different libraries are introduced in this work.
