Summary
The paper presents some previously unknown facts about the inventories of the Library of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. The library was established in 1886, and its first inventories were most likely formed at that time. One of them includes Instructions for Handling of Library and Classification of Books by Ivan V. Subotić, dated 1st of July, 1920, which is the first written instruction for conducting inventory books of this library, classification of publications and their placement.
